SASSA payments date for December

About 46% of people in South Africa receive social grants every month with those who get the R350 SRD grant included in that percentage.

The social grants are paid by the SASSA with those who are getting the money choosing how they want to receive it, via their bank accounts or at the Post Office.

Payments for older people's allowance are on Wednesday the 1st of December then on Thursday the 2nd of December is the payment day for disability allowance with Friday the 3rd of December being the payment for children's grant allowance.

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will not be paying the R350 relief grant on the same week other grants are being paid, the recipients will have to wait until they get an SMS that confirms that their R350 is available to collect.

SRD recipients can also collect their payments at Boxer or Pick N Pay stores.
