Andre De Ruyter Reveals The Truth About Eskom, Says There Is State Capture Within Eskom

Andre de Ruyter is not keeping mute about the problems of Eskom, especially now that people are blaming him for being unable to lift the company from the incessant and frequent power cuts and load shedding. Andre de Ruyter revealed that the problem of Eskom revolves around state capture, disclosing that it was only a myth that state capture ended when the Guptas left South Africa. In fact, the Eskom CEO disclosed that the state capture is more rampant now and the effects are weighing more on Eskom than ever. Recall that some people were asking president Cyril Ramaphosa to fire Andre de Ruyter from his position as the Eskom CEO, saying that the Eskom boss is highly incompetent to effect any positive change. This is the reason De Ruyter came out to say that the problem of Eskom is beyond him, declaring that it is quite a complicated one and many people will never understand.

Recall that Andre De Ruyter was made to apologize for calling Eskom a “dead horse”. Although he apologized as instructed by the lawmakers, the Eskom boss had succeeded in exposing the truth behind Eskom problems, declaring that it is nothing but pure state capture. News24 published an exclusive statement from Andre De Ruyter regarding his claims about the so-called state capture in Eskom, and he is not fumbling. He knows what he is saying. It was written, “The notion that state capture ended when the Guptas flew out of South Africa is a myth, says Eskom CEO André de Ruyter”. Recall that president Cyril Ramaphosa even cited earlier that sacking or firing Andre De Ruyter from the position of Eskom boss or CEO will never solve the problem of load shedding. Does it mean that president Cyril Ramaphosa and his cabinet know the source of the problem in Eskom? The question is, why, then, are they not making enough move to end the load shedding and the incessant power cut?

A supporter and keen follower of President Cyril Ramaphosa said that Andre De Ruyter must not drag president Ramaphosa into Eskom challenges. He asked, “Is this man saying Cyril was lying when he said there is no more state capture?

If Andre De Ruyter cannot stop state capture, why is he still Eskom CEO?”. Indeed, the problem of Eskom is complicated. Remember that some South Africans revealed that people are making billions of this Eskom challenge. This is perhaps the state capture Andre De Ruyter is trying to expose. Will they ever listen to him?
