Solar power station launched in South Africa by this big institution

South Africans will be pleased to hear what Amazon has done this time around. It is reported that Amazon reportedly announced that it had launched its solar power station for the first time. The great news is that the project is already operational. It is also reported to be already providing electricity to the power utility company.

The plant is reported to be located in the Northern Cape .There is an expectation for the project to generate up to 28 0000MWh of energy per annum , which can cover up to 8000 homes in the country.

This project is being conducted in collaboration with Eskom, the National Energy Regulator of South Africa and the Ministry of Minerals and Energy. This development comes at the right time when Eskom has been struggling to keep the lights on for South Africans. These are helpful projects that are needed to help address the power crisis in South Africa.
