There is a development that was reported by News24 on Wednesday evening that will make South Africans to be delighted . This is after a report was given of good deeds that were done by the South African Breweries.
The alcohol sector just got back into business after weeks of inactivity following a ban that was imposed by the Government .
It is good to note that despite being off business for weeks, the South African Breweries maintained their commitment of helping upgrade the members of the society.
The South African Breweries is reported to have given a total of R12.6 million in terms of funding and business developmental support to the society.
It is heard that seventeen disability groups and and social innovators were the beneficiaries of the good gesture from the South African Breweries at their 10th annual Innovation and Disability Empowerment Award ceremony which was held virtually on Tuesday.
During the awards that were held virtually, some of the winners included Agricool Finance and Meat Naturally who are reported to have jointly taken the number one price.
The Disablity Empowerment Award is reported by News24 as having been scooped by Leafline Washable Sanitary Wear during the virtually held award ceremony.

It is portrayed by News24 that the the above winners walked away with R1.3- million in worth of grant funding during the vurtual award ceremony .
One of the winners during the awards , Zamokuhle Thwala is reported to have expressed excitement at walking away with the funds .
She reportedly highlighted that she is going to upgrade her business by making investments in different places.
There is report of Sarah Frazee who is from one of the winners from the awards, Meat Naturally. She also revealed the plans that are in place for the grant that was won during the awards.
She is reported to have revealed plans to use the money to assist those members in Kruger Park that were affected negatively by the pandemic .
She is reported to have revealed that the money will help with the completion of some projects that are helpful to them.
Still moving on , there is reported to have been plans that were revealed by the Leafline's Candy Androliakos.She is reported to have said that the price money would be instrumental in the development of their products.
It is reported that there was a give away of R12.6- million to the businesses that had been shortlisted for the virtual award ceremony.
The money is meant to enhance development of the business entities that were shotlisted.

The South African Breweries Foundation is reported to have been founded in 2010.The aim of the foundation was to assist small , medium and micro-sized business entities financially.
The aim is such that when they are successful, they in turn are able to render assistance to the members of the public who are disadvantaged socially and economically.
The South African Breweries Foundation has the aim of benefiting certain members of the public who include women , the people from poor backgrounds and the people living with disabilities .
It is reported by News24 that to date , there has been more than R300 -million that has been given away by the foundation. The South African Breweries is known for playing a pivotal role in the lives of South Africans and the economy of the country as well.
