The Minister of FinanceTito Mboweni is expected to make a budget presentation on Wednesday and this has seen different sectors expressing their expectations .The alcohol sector is one of the sectors that is reported to have made a call to the Minister Tito Mboweni.
The Beer Association of South Africa is reported to have made a call to the Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni to consider giving their sector tax relief.
This comes ahead of the scheduled Budget presentation set for Wednesday. The association is reported to have highlighted that a tax relief may help the sector to at least breathe considering the effects suffered as a result of the ban on alcohol.
The Beer Association of South Africa reportedly highlighted that the way that the Minister of Finance can assist their sector is when he considers offering the sector tax relief .The alcohol sector suffered severely during the recent alcohol ban as many people lost their jobs .
