We all go into well known and loved South African stores once in a while, maybe every month if it's a food store. And during your shopping trips you might have met a few of the employees in those those always keeping a smile on their face well most of the time. Today we are going to talk about how much Shoprite employees earn compared to Pick n Pay employees. These two stores are on the list of big stores in South Africa.

First we are going to start with Shoprite.

The average Shoprite Checkers (Pty) Ltd monthly salary ranges from approximately R 2 000 per month for Bakery Assistant to R 12 910 per month for Sales Manager. Average Shoprite Checkers (Pty) Ltd weekly pay ranges from approximately R 500 per week for Retail Sales Associate to R 699 per week for Money Center Clerk.

Let's look at how much Pick n Pay employees earn.

The average Pick n Pay monthly salary ranges from approximately R 2 541 per month for Stocker to R 16 171 per month for Store Manager. Average Pick n Pay hourly pay ranges from approximately R 20,00 per hour for Shop Assistant to R 60,00 per hour for Stocker.

It seems Pick n Pay employees earn more compared to Shoprite employees. There is a slightly more than R500 different between the two.
