Albania to start applying a 15% tax on cryptocurrency earnings in 2023.

According to the Albanian government's new legislation, any money from crypto transactions or mining would be recognized as business income and the recipients will be subject to a 15% capital gains tax.

This new cryptocurrency policy in the country will take effect in 2023, in conjunction with a new income tax bill.

Some people have reacted to this in different ways, take a look at some of their responses below;

"They should have done it the bull market it’s the country’s economy."

@btc15046743 tweeted,

"The country's economy is in trouble and needs to rely on this tax to solve the problem, isn't it?"

@JpLerossignol tweeted,

"The risks are yours. If loosing, your country will not pay you back. As mine. That's why I'm sad to give 30% (if it's not 60 as a pro and the limit is not so far to become a pro in France) of what I earned. And more when I see what they're doing with our money.
