Whatever which is associated with grant many people take it as a good thing and forget to analyze what could be the consequences coming with that grant.
It was on May 2020 when the president of the republic of South Africa and African National Congress which is the ruling party in the republic of South Africa, announced the introduction of R350 Covid-19 unemployment relief fund which was intend to help those who lost their income sources due to Covid-19 and all who qualify but not working.
Unfortunately, that Covid-19 grant did run forever but it came to an end, and according to department of social development, there was a rapid rise of criminal activities when Covid-19 grant ended.
Good news was that President of the republic of South Africa, president Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa reinstated the Covid-19 grant from August 2021 to March 2022.
The first consequences which is clear now is that a person who's a beneficiary of R350 unemployment relief fund won't be able to apply for general assistants and teachers assistants which is paying way better than this grant.
