The most affordable smartphone for you |Opinion

We all wish to own a flagship phone, you may not even know what it means when a phone is referred to as a flagship but you have certainly seen an advert on TV and you can't help but wish you could own it with the price coming in between you and your dream phone.

What is a flagship phone? Flagship phones are the high end phones a manufacturer makes with their current technology and innovations, these never come cheap but what if I told you you can afford it? Yes you can! It may not be the latest flagship from that manufacturer and you may not even be the first person to own it but it definitely still is a flagship phone. I'm talking about previous generation flagship phones, you are most like to find these as second hand phones however there's a upside to that and that's the price. You can find great deals on these in the second hand market and if you are lucky you can find one that hasn't been used excessively with everything still intact.

Below are 2 previous generation Samsung flagship phones that still hold their ground in 2021:

1. Samsung S8

Screensize: 5.8"

1440x2960

Camera: 12Mp & 8Mp

Ram: 4GB

Storage: 64GB

Processor: Exynos 8895

Battery: 3000mAh

This phone doesn't feel 4 years old at all, great build qualit with a gorrilla glass front and back it was certainly ahead of its time, 12Mp main camera with 60fps support at 1080p and 4k at 30fps it came ready for 2021.

2. Samsung S9

Screensize: 5.8"

1440x2960

Camera: 12Mp & 8Mp

Ram: 4GB

Storage: 64GB ,128GB & 256GB

Processor: Exynos 9810

Battery: 3000mAh

Cannot skip mentioning the big sister of the S8, at first glance it may seem like the S8 and S9 are evenly matched until you make a close inspection. Compared to the S8, the S9 is a beast. Released in 2018 you can bet the internals have been beefed up, the Main camera supports 60fps at 4k and that is a big deal for a 3 year old phone.
