PSL Log Table Before Midweek Games

The Premiere Soccer League (PSL) will return this evening for midweek games.

We look at the DStv premiership log table before the games.

Mamelodi Sundowns are still at the summit of the log table with 26 points after 10 games played so far.

The club will be aiming to make it 29 points when they host their Tshwane rivals Supersport United this evening.

Sundowns are five points clear on top of the table with a game in hand.

Stellenbosch FC are occupying the second position with 21 points after 11 games played.

The club will be looking to close the gap to two points from Sundowns at the top when they host Orlando Pirates at Danie Craven Stadium this evening.

Sekhukhune United are on third position and the team is not in action this midweek.

Supersport United are occupying the fourth position with 18 points, a victory today could take the team to 21 points and above Sekhukhune.

Royal AM are on fifth position and the club is also not in action this midweek.

Kaizer Chiefs are on sixth spot and will be looking to move up in the log standings when they host Amazulu this evening at FNB Stadium.

Amakhosi could jump all the way to second position if they manage a victory this evening.

The Naturena based outfit have collected 18 points in 11 games played.

Orlando Pirates are on seventh position and at a risk of moving out of the top eight.

The Buccaneers will be desperate for victory this evening when they visit Stellenbosch to improve their log position.

Amazulu sits on eighth spot and on level points with Pirates.

If Usuthu win against Chiefs and Pirates drop maximum points, Usuthu will go above Pirates.

Marumo Gallants are still at the rock bottom with only seven points after 10 games played.

The club will be looking for maximum points this evening when they host Maritzburg United.
