This past weekend brought great games in the Premiere Soccer League (PSL) and also created shocking moments. One of the surprising moments of this past weekend has to be Royal AM winning yet another game in the PSL, as they they defeated Maritzburg United 2-1.
This game provide that Royal AM will really cause an upset in the PSL, as they keep on surprising people with their wins. Surely no one would have expected Royal AM to be in the position they are in currently, as they are above the big teams such as Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in the PSL log table.
Royal AM are currently in the 3rd position in the PSL. Mamelodi Sundowns on the other hand continued to impress as they recorded their 5th win in the PSL after six games played and retained their number one spot in the PSL. Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Swallows FC 3-0 in a game that was played on Sunday afternoon.
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates on the other hand managed to get one point only from from their game respectively. After the draw Orlando Pirates played on Saturday when they were playing against Cape Town City puts them on the 6th position in the league table. Surely Orlando Pirates will be looking to improve from this past game and focus on the next game in order for them to move up in the table.
On the other hand the draw that Kaizer Chiefs played when they were playing against Amazulu puts them on the 12th position on the league table. This is an unfamiliar position for a club a big as Kaizer Chiefs and will be looking to win their next games in order to go up as well.
Here below is the PSL table currently.
