Child maintenance payments to be delayed after IT system hacked - DoJCD

CAPE TOWN - The Justice and Constitutional Development Department has affirmed that kid upkeep installments will presently be deferred after its IT framework was hacked. 

The division was hacked in a ransomware assault last week. 

The division said that installments would be deferred because of departmental frameworks, including MojaPay, not being presently available. MojaPay is the framework it uses to regulate installments. 

Representative Steve Mahlangu said that they couldn't give a specific season of when the frameworks would be reestablished.
