Along with other struggle heroes like Govan Mbheki and Oliver Tambo just to mention a few, Mandela took South Africa from being a country ruled under harsh apartheid laws to being a democratic country whereby all individuals whether black or white, have equal opportunities in Azania.
Now the story of Mandela didn't just touch South Africans only, countries around the world have been inspired by his story of hard work, perseverance and never backing down despite facing gazzilion of problems from the apartheid government.
Countries around the world got inspired to the point whereby they saw it necessary to honor Mandela the right way by preserving his name in the history books of influential people of all time.
