South African artists to perform in Dubai ( see pictures)

The World Expo 2020 will be opened by South African artists at the Dubai event, which will be shown live on Mzansi Magic (161) and 1Magic (103), at 9pm on Sunday.

Among the artists and celebrities who will be attending the event, who will be leaving the country today, are Sho Madjozi, Pabi Moloi, Thando Thabethe, Coenie de Villiers, Dr Nothembi Mkhwebane, Khuzani Mpungose, Mzansi Youth, Drakensberg Boys Choirs and others.

The cast will be part of the show, Reyka, which will soon be on Showmax, Bloods Psalms.

At the event local artists and actors will be celebrating South African beauty as well as culture. But the main thing is to look at the arts sector and how it can be revitalized and stand by both after being infected with the Covid-19 virus.

Khuzani said he enjoyed being part of the event and hoped he would learn a lot from it as he would meet foreign artists.

“Thank you to all who have given us such an opportunity, I hope the foreigners will love it and we will show it to them and all my colleagues who I go with to the event. I will represent my brothers in the scandal at this event, ”he explained.

THANDO Thebethe is one of the local artists who will be performing at The World Expo in Dubai which will be screened in South Africa on Mzansi Magic and 1Magic on Sunday. Imtiaz Patel, Chairman of MultiChoice, has revealed that The World Expo 2020 is one of the many exhibitions of artists from around the world.

“Through this event we will be attracting foreign entrepreneurs to come to the country and invest in the tourism industry. The arts and tourism sector was the worst hit during the Covid-19 era so in this event both sectors will have the opportunity to re-emerge to continue their work, ”explained Imtiaz.
