There are certain Nigerian Living Legends that are beyond 95 years old and are still active in their respective fields throughout the country. Look at two of these Living Legends in more detail.
- Chief Akintola Williams:
As reported, Chief Akintola is one of the country's most senior citizens, having been born in 1919 and living to the grand age of 102, but he is still quite involved in the country's affairs. As reported by Punch, he is a Chartered Accountant who has held a number of important posts around the country. His other distinction is that he was the first African to obtain Chartered Accountant certification. A brilliant Chartered Accountant, Chief Akintola is still going strong in the country despite his advanced age.
Nollywood actor Charles Olumo, well known by his stage name Agbako, is regarded as the world's oldest living Yoruba actor. Despite the fact that he is aging gracefully, the actor who has made significant contributions to the development of the Yoruba film industry is still doing exceptionally well. Following his participation in a theater group in the 1950s to 1960s, the Actor, who is today 96 years old, began his career in the entertainment industry. The fact that Agbako is getting older does not diminish his strength and fitness.
