An armed robbery incident took place today in the morning in the Katlehong policing area.
A call was made regarding a truck which had been hijacked with goods at Moleki extension 4. The owner of the truck is said to have made the call and had tracked down the vehicle and found were it was in Moleki extension 4, Katlehong.
Police officers rushed to the given address and found three foreign nationals offloading goods from the truck.
The members managed to arrest the three suspects and none of them escaped.
The estimated value of goods which were contained in the truck when it was hijacked is R500 000. The truck was laden with more than sixty pallets of washing powder at the time of hijack.
