11 Heavily Armed Suspects Arrested After A Shootout With SAPS Special Forces And Armed Reaction.

Eleven heavily armed men were apprehended after a long shootout last night, on the 5th of December 2020. 

The shootout was between the suspects, security companies and law enforcement. The suspects wouldn’t go down easy and they were set on evading the authorities so a long shootout ensued until the suspects were out manned and they surrendered.

The police recovered a Ford Ranger which was being sought after, it was either reported stolen or hijacked, a Toyota Hilux, but it is unclear if this vehicle was stolen or it belonged to the suspects.

A Nissan NP300 which was discovers to belong to the South African Police Services.

Cellphones of the suspects were also confiscated by the police to form part of their investigations.

A signal Jammer, along with an illegal Assault riffle, two uh unregistered handguns were also seized by the police in a crime stopper operation conducted in Bryanston.
