More advise to the government with regards to the upliftment of some bans

Professor Salim abdool Karim, the Ministerial Advisory Committee Chairperson advises the government to not ease the mass gathering ban as they consider the relaxation of the lockdown rules.

This is after the talks of moving to lockdown level 2 continues to gain momentum. Every citizen of south africa seem to be looking forward to the upliftment of most of the bans.

Karim has aid that as a country we should move to the next lockdown level with caution, to avoid a drastic rise again in the corona virus infection, as the virus is not completely gone.

This was reference to other countries in the world like Europe, that rushed into easing lockdown rules and ended up returning back to the hard lockdown because of the rise in the covid19 infections again.

Regardless of the decreasing trend of the covid19 infection, it seems like it is still important to continue wearing our mask, sanitizing and not be too ignorant about the virus.
