Meet Miss SA 2020 first round judges

The Miss South Africa organisation have named their first round judging panel after seeing a record number of entries.


This year's pageant will be broadcasted live on both M-Net and Mzansi Magic due to the coronavirus pandemic.


According to News24, the judges are currently going through the more than 2 500 applications received. From the applications, the judges will have to choose 35 contestants to participate in the virtual interview.


The judges are Media personality Anele Mdoda and former Miss South Africa title holders Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala (2010), Liesl Laurie (2015) and Adè van Heerden (2017).

On what the judges are looking for, Anele who judged the peàgent twice said, “We are not looking for the next Zozi. We want the first you. Be true to yourself.”

Meanwhile, on social media people have been calling for Zozibini to be given another year of the crown.
