Illegal Immigrants Would Not Be Getting Jobs In SA If The Government Enforced This Law On Employers

Illegal Immigrants Would Not Be Getting Employed If The Government Enforced This Law On Employers.

It is almost two weeks since the movement against foreigners has been going on in South Africa. South Africans want their jobs back and they also want to claim their country back from foreigners.

The #PutSouthAfricansFirst movement advocates for the employment of South Africans over foreigners. The restaurants and hospitality industry is usually filled with foreigners instead of South Africans. Politicians such as Malema advocate for employment quotas between South Africans and foreigners, however South Africans want 100% employment of South Africans.

However, fact remains that these foreigners have been employed in these companies for quiet a while now ans this can only be blamed on the government for allowing employers to employ foreigners of which some of them without checking if they have work visas.

There is a law in South Africa that states that employing illegal immigrants is a criminal offense. The company or the employer could be fined huge amounts or even be imprisoned. The employment of employers non the less shows how government has not been regulating these companies and the employees in the company.

Opinion:

South African has an influx of foreigners because the government has not been regulating the country in every aspect, from employees to spaza shops and this is why the foreigners have managed to secure jobs and spaza shops in South Africa.
