Judge Linda Ampah couldn't hold back her tears as she praised Akosua for her bravery in bringing women together through female mentorship in a video attached to this article. Unfortunately, disappointment set in as Akosua's dream was cut short on the GMB stage. The focus of Akosua's presentation was on women's empowerment.
"I'd like to dispel the perception that women are our own worst enemies. That is really true, and it needs to change. Women do, according to what you and I observe on a daily basis, bring their fellow women down. When we reach the pinnacle of our profession, we rarely encourage one another to follow in our footsteps "Akosua made a bold declaration.
"My ambition is to organize a mentorship program that would allow women to maintain a common bond with one another. I'd rather to see women helping one other rather than tearing each other down "Akosua continued.
"We will be able to put an end to teenage pregnancy if women stop hating each other. We'll also have the confidence to push for more women in positions of leadership. The African woman must live in this manner. We must accept and love ourselves "Akosua expressed his feelings in an emotional manner.
Akosua's dream of female empowerment was dashed when she failed to win the title. Despite her great idea, she was denied the role of queen, and she was forced to return to the Oti Region.
