did your know that your name could be the main reason that you are not getting the job you want or any job that you have been applying for.
Many jobs require certain skills and when you don't have those skills but only the qualification it is pretty hard to get the job.
Many companie have revealed that they always check name before they hire. When hiring HR considers a name that is easy to pronounce and one that sounds white.
yes white, if you are black and you have traditional African names getting the job for you wont be so easy names such as Lehlohonolo, Kwazi'Nkosi, Bongo'kuhle and other complex names such Tshegofatso or Basetsane.
Because most companies are made up of more than 50% white it is to make it easy for them to read your name and when you find that HR is 100% white you definitely wont be getting your dream job anytime soon.
When applying for a job it is always best to use your English name first so that they can put a picture on you before they turn you down without a chance.
we all hate it but that is how it is and it will never chance.
