There's nothing that is so annoying than going through old job listings that are out-of-date and already filled. This wastes your time and energy that should instead be directed to applying for new job listings and preparing for interviews. In this article we've shared a couple of tips that you can use to find the latest openings.
1.Using Recruitment Platforms
Companies have simplified the application process by using recruitment platforms. These are websites that have been created for the sole purpose of facilitating job applications. In South Africa we have a couple of leading ones that you should definitely sign up for.
— Careers 24
— SA Youth
2.Using Search Engines
Dedicated job search engines speed up the process of finding employment because they narrow down the search and only show active openings.
— Google: Just type "companies that are hiring in my area" and a list of openings will show up. Make sure that your GPS has been turned on otherwise your results will not be good.
— Indeed: Create your own profile and upload all of the required information and documents. Start searching for "the latest vacancies" and you are good to go.
3.Apply on company websites
This is a more direct approach that i strongly recommend for everyone to do. By submitting your application on the companies website, it will be received immediately and fast track the process of getting a callback. Just visit any company website that you would like to work for. Navigate to their jobs section and see if they have any open positions.
