Pravin gives out the list of critical skills needed in SA, see what SA says

Net Care says that there is shortage of nurses, Pravin Gordhan says there is a shortage of engineering and technical skills at Eskom, and Joe Phaahla says there is a shortage of doctors.

SA has 46% unemployment rate. Something is very fundamentally wrong in this country.

They must stop complaining. I know engineers who studied up until their 2nd year, but dropped out. If there's a shortage of engineers, they should just employ them. They're already halfway there. Job experience will make up for it.

No time for excuses, give people jobs. I will not drive over a bridge designed by an “engineer” that dropped out after 2 years. Will you agree to be operated on by a “doctor” that only completed 2 years study?

No professional walks around with proof of qualification. What planet are you from? Who even needs qualifications in the 21st century.

Qualifications should be dropped. They are barriers to the job market, especially for college students who dropped out. Great. I have NO medical qualifications, but I'm prepared to give it a shot. I won't charge what qualified doctors, I will be dirty cheap. Call me for your medical needs. PS, I'm also prepared to try to fix your car. You have a shortage of STEM teachers .educators for Sotho, History and Afrikaans are in oversupply, but you require Maths ,Physics,Chemistry teachers if you're going to fix your science problems including Eskom. of the generally unemployed, maybe this will explain why. Not to bash you, government wasn't training nurses in numbers, engineering, and technical skill may be short as for the past 10 years (that I know of) Eskom hasn't been doing skill transfer. Dr. I have no say and the unemployment rate is high as most people did different courses, Both statements can be true at the same time yeah? Either way. Both your points are painful, we're in a shithole.
