"I used to be paid 18k Monthly as A house Maid in Dubai, For Working till 2 :00 am" Julie Narrates

Negative reports about women working in the Gulf and Arabic countries are not new to us; those ladies face a lot; they are harassed and humiliated by their employers; if you have a family member working there, please reach out to him or her and ensure that he or she is secure.

Julie Kibenei is one of the many victims of the hurried lifestyle of the Arab countries. Julie claimed on real talk that she received a link through one of her friends, who persuaded her to join her in Dubai because the incomes are great and the lifestyle is luxurious.

Julie flew to Dubai after completing all of the necessary arrangements, and her employer met her at the airport. Julie claims she was harassed from the first day, when she was woken up at 6:00 p.m. and made to get nine children ready for school, and then she was told not to leave the house unless the Employer gave her permission.

Julie claimed that the house had a total of 11 people in it, and she was the one who caused all of the ruckus; she slept at 2:00 a.m. and woke up at 5:00 a.m., and her pay for such long hours was only 18,000 ksh. It had been a rough life, and she is grateful to God that she was able to flee and return to the country safely. Julie has advised women not to work as housemaids in Dubai or other Arab nations.
