Finally at last unemployed people their 350 are paid

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), one of South Africa’s main trade unions, has called on the government to extend the grant beyond March 2022.

Declined Applications

Those clients who had their "350 Grant" applications declined for the period from February to March 2021 may appeal by going to the website at https://SRD.sassa.gov.za and following the links for reconsideration. If you do not appeal, the declined application will not be reconsidered. The appeal period closes on 31 November 2021. No appeals will be considered after this date.

The SA Social Security Agency (Sassa) has again called for those who have not collected their R350 social relief of distress grant payments from the previous cycle to do so by next week or risk losing the payments.

On Thursday, the agency released a list of people who have not collected their payments, saying if the payments are not collected at the SA Post Office (SAPO) by Tuesday next week, the applicants will forfeit their payments.

The list is of applicants approved in the previous cycle, and not after President Cyril Ramaphosa reinstated the grant last month.
