SABC complains that it can’t compete against Netflix and Showmax

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has said that the government’s policy prevents it from competing with streaming services such as Netflix and Showmax, according to a report by the City Press.

SABC used to show quality dramas like Zone 14,Interrogation room,Velaphi,Family Bonds etc.

Now they advertise Clientele for more than an hour, play old Chinese movies and can't even show us our football games.

SABC collects about 1 billion in tv licences money and they get about 200 million for educational programs anually before advertising money.

I think the problem is current management is clueless about what their doing, SABC controls the market both Radio TV you see qualifications alone don't help you need visionaries craze people those who can see things we can't see.
