King Dalindyebo To Be Presented The Keys To R1.8m Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe On Saturday From EFF

The EFF will give over the keys to a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe SUV worth more than R1.8 million to AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo on Saturday. As Dalindyebo revealed during an EFF elections campaign rally two weeks ago, he would no longer get an ML class. This comes after news outlets reported that the company has discontinued the ML line.

Mthunzi Ngonyama, Dalindyebo's spokeswoman, said that the GLE would be officially handed off during a ceremony at the King's Nkululekweni home in Mthatha. He stated that the celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. The gift, according to Ngonyama, restored Dalindyebo's dignity. Mthunzi Ngonyama, Dalindyebo's spokesperson, stated in his invitation, which included an image of the opulent automobile: "She and the car are on her way to the King's Palace this Saturday at 10 a.m. to commence her appointed Royal responsibilities, and we shall gladly welcome her. You are cordially welcomed since this is part of the fight to restore Kumkani Zwelibanzi's dignity."

Yazini Tetyana, chairman of the Eastern Cape EFF, told News24 about the vehicle's acquisition: My brother, we'll be bringing that GLE on Saturday. We shall silence all those who doubted our ability to deliver. Tetyana explained the modest adjustment to the King's gift as follows: "We were unaware that the ML had been discontinued because we are not a party of luxury items. We are a poorest-of-the-poor party. The car has been discontinued, according to News24. We wouldn't know because the GLE has taken the place of the ML."

Dalindyebo joined EFF leader Julius Malema on the campaign road two weeks ago, when he revealed that Malema had promised him a vehicle. Dalindyebo slammed government officials, claiming that, unlike Malema, they did not respect royalty. They send us X3s and X5s - automobiles that get bogged in mud, he explained. He went on to say that Malema's gift was of royal standard, and he urged his followers to vote EFF in the municipal elections. The ANC reacted angrily to the king's unexpected shift in allegiance, with provincial secretary Lulama Ngcukayithobi accusing Dalindyebo of selling away his country for EFF favors.
