Source :

Most people love to show off how their cars can perform especially those who drive latest sports cars. You will find people in an open area like stadium with different cars spinning them while inside and you will even smell a burning tyre to show that it has griped the tar road. But there are also dangers associated with spinning a car while you are inside and some can cause minor injuries while some can cause death.

When you spin a car while people are around it , alot of things can happen like rolling over, bursting the tyres or evening running them over if you lose the control of the car while it is spinning. You must someone with alot of experience before you can even think about spinning your car to avoid accidents and kill people around you.

They can also cause a lot of damage to various steering and suspension components. Danagefor either a curb kiss or severe spin out can range from losing the wheel alignment settings up to bending suspension arms or rims or possibly blowing a tire.

Wheelspin is what happens to a car when the driver applies the accelerator and the subsequent torque sent to the driving wheels causes one or both them to lose traction and rotate more rapidly than then non driving wheels.

The longer you rock the car the longer you spin the wheels or the faster you spin the wheels the hotter the transmission fluid becomes. Long periods of wheel spinning will cause the fluid to become so hot it will warp parts inside the transmission killing it.

Attempting to produce wheel spinning may also result in a burnt-out clutch if the tyres have more grip than expected your clutch will slip and burn instead. If your wheels are spinning, then don't worry. From the engine and transmission's perspective there is no difference between the wheels spinning or turning normally.

You may think it's the best option but swerving can cause your front wheel and tire on the car to hit the edge of the pothole causing more damage than hitting it straight on. Keep the tire pressure at level recommended by manufacturer which will protect against tire damage on impact.
