The BMW 5 Series E60 demonstrating that it is willing to put its money where its mouth is.

The BMW 5 Series E60 has been de-bangleized, demonstrating that it is willing to put its money where its mouth is.

Clearly, not everyone despises BMW's new grille design, including the owner of this old 5 Series, who decided to pimp it out in the most obnoxious way possible.

The Chris Bangle-era BMWs were once thought to be the ugliest, but they have aged quite well, particularly the E60. Giving one the contentious double-coffin grille could be considered sacrilege, as it would lose its identity.

That doesn't matter to the owner of this 5er, who simply wanted some new-gen M3/M4 looks on their ride. As a result, the old bumper was removed to make way for a new one, complete with the large mouth and four additional air intakes on the sides, as well as what appears to be a fake radar under the license plate on the driver's side.

The makeover includes a pair of flaps as well as the contentious stickers on the doors. The upper part of the windscreen has a ‘M Performance' decal, and if you zoom in, you can see a tiny trunk lid spoiler finished in black, like the roof, side mirror caps, and wheels, which contrasts with the white body that appears to be battered. I guess it's easier said than done to polish this 5er.

You may be wondering where it was discovered, and Captain Obvious would tell you that it was discovered in an underground parking lot. We have no idea, but based on the license plate, we'd guess it's somewhere in Asia. The Redditor who gave it its 15 minutes of fame made no comment, and the image shared in the gallery is the only one we could find.

End..
