Zimbabweans in South Africa are in a state of limbo regarding the fate of their exception permits, which are set to expire in December of this year. The South African government has remained silent on the matter in the interim, leaving them to speculate. Despite the fact that there is no official figure for the number of Zimbabweans who live and work in South Africa, reports have stated that there are approximately 300 000 Zimbabweans who have Zimbabwe Exemption Permits (ZEPs), which allow them to live and work in the neighboring country without restriction.

Manicipality issues certificate, approves pro-democracy mass protest to US Embassy.

Vusumuzi Matsebula, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Ezulwini Manicipality has issued a certificate approving the pro-democracy protest march to the Embassy of the United States of America(USA). This comes after the Political Parties Assembly(PPA) in collaboration with pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) represented by Siphofaneni MP Mduduzi 'Magawugawu’ Simelane announced that the march will now be held on Friday 01 October 2021.
