The South African Democratic Teachers' Union (Sadtu) has urged African National Congress (ANC) delegates gathered at the Nasrec Expo Centre to assess the impact of COVID-19 on the education sector. From Friday, the ruling party will hold its sixth national policy conference. Sadtu stated that when delegates consider various approaches to addressing the country's most pressing social issues, they should not overlook ideas to alleviate the psychological and developmental impact of school closures during the pandemic.
The family of the slain Mgezwa Senior Secondary teacher Aphiwe Qaba received a major financial boast. Commitment was made that in memory of Qaba, 27, a classroom at the school would be named after him and the school would seek to achieve a 100% matric pass.
The Minister must accept that this is not an individual effort. The President must invite all of the relevant parties to the party. Our immigration policy must be revised, and our partners must assume responsibility for the massive influx of illegal and migrant laborers into South Africa.
The third phase of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative is currently underway in various schools across the country. Some of the Education Assistants and General School Assistants from phase two were let go for not meeting the requirements. The South African Democratic Teachers Union and School Governing Bodies in Limpopo have lambasted the department of education for instructing schools to dismiss EAs that are studying.
SADTU is saddened by the passing of children at Nyobeng Tavern. Many were underage and also learners
The South African Democratic Teachers Union has added its voice to the sad tragedy that happened in Eastern London. 21 people have been confirmed dead at Nyobeng Tavern. What made SADTU sad the most is the fact that most of those who are deceased are learners who are under the age of 18.
Students at a Mthatha high school ran amok and caused pandemonium as they attacked their teachers, security guards and other personnel with knobkerries and other weapons. The students were so angry and agitated as they were protesting for scholar transport. They demanded that they be given scholar transport with immediate effect.
The Minister needs to come to terms with the fact that this is not a one-man show. The President needs to call all of the stakeholders to come to the party. Our immigration policy needs to be changed, and our allies need to take responsibility for the high influx of illegal and migrant workers in South Africa.
The third quarter of the school year could look very different for students if the Department of Health issues new regulations that remove the requirement to wear masks. The areas are removed. In a memo obtained by News24, Phaahla said "critical indicators" such as new cases, hospitalizations and deaths related to Covid19 had declined.
There must be a reform in our immigration policy, and our partners must share responsibility for the large influx of illegal and migrants into South Africa, which the Minister must accept is not a one-man show. We can't enforce immigration laws unless we work together with law enforcement, so we need to encourage people to come forward with information about illegal foreigners who are living in our neighborhoods or renting out our properties to them without first obtaining a special permit from the Department of Home Affairs.
03 May 2022 by Alupheli... While the media and 'others' want to misdirect people to say it was the Sibanye-Stillwater miners who booed the president. Dr Alex Mohubetšwane Mogale Mashilo, spokesperson of the SACP has been consistent in saying, it is actually Public Sector workers (NEHAWU, DENOSA, SADTU etc) whose bargaining agreement the government reneged on, for the final 3rd year... those workers are angry and trust has been broken.
The Minister needs to realize that he can't do this all by himself. The President needs to get everyone involved to come to the table. Our immigration policy needs to be changed, and our allies need to take responsibility for the large number of illegal immigrants and migrants coming to South Africa.

In order for the African National Congress (ANC) to shake off its state of stagnation, the party should seriously consider electing Thabo Mbeki as president once again, and then mortgage its infrastructure capital program to Chinese firms and banks in exchange for a 30-year BOT. The number of people working at Eskom would be reduced by 20,000 thanks to Medupi, and Kusile would be finished in the blink of an eye.
OPINION COSATU leadership supported Ramaphosa hoping for greener pastures, NEHAWU spent more than a million to CR17 funding a billionaire to date I cannot understand the wisdom of funding a billionaire in an ANC internal elections, I think it was 2019 where I asked top official of NEHAWU why they do not take this dispute of wage agreement to court, I did not expect the response I got since he was pro Ramaphosa but I learned that although they are in this camp but they can see judicial behaviour.

The Minister needs to find a sense of peace with the way that this is definitely not an exclusive show. The President needs to call every one of the partners to come to the party. Our movement strategy should be changed, and our partners need to get a sense of ownership with the high deluge of unlawful and transient laborers in South Africa.
