Another 34 inmates test positive for Covid-19

The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) announced yesterday, 19 May, that another 34 positive cases of Covid-19 have been recorded at the DCS facility in Sada, Eastern Cape. This brings the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in DCS facilities in the province to 460. To date, 399 inmates and 61 officials have tested positive for the Coronavirus, while 71 have recovered and 2 deaths have been recorded.
