Soweto residents are livid and they have taken matters way too much further. The residents blocked the N1 with bricks and branches of trees. They did all this because of electricity woes they are facing in their community. The Soweto residents have taken their protest over electricity to the N1 freeway, disrupting traffic in both directions between Randshow and Diepkloof, south of Johannesburg.

It is quite disturbing to see how people still want things to be done their way and if they do not happen that way they go extra miles by disturbing law abiding citizens. Of course there are certain things that the government promises when they want people to vote but we have to accept that it's not everything that they will do.
