A man from Seshego (Zone 6) who got arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend has tried to get out on bail. A Limpopo magistrate who gave a GBV suspect easy bail has now recused himself from the case. The magistrate who can not be named for ethical reasons granted Solomon Galane R500 bail. Galane had been arraigned before the magistrates court after a physical confrontation with his girlfriend. Galane is facing another charge, of murder, after he allegedly ran over his ex-girlfriend Phuthi Mamabolo, killing her instantly in Seshego, Polokwane, on June 25.
