A friend who was with Muzikayise Malephane just hours before he murdered Tshegofatso Pule has taken the stand to testify about calls he alleges the killer received ahead of the crime. Muzi Khumalo, who grew up with Malephane in Soweto, testified that the incessant calls to the murderer’s phone were from Ntuthuko Shoba, accused of ordering a hit on Pule.
He was on the testimony box in the South Gauteng High Court in Joburg for the third day, under questioning by Ntuthuko Shoba's safeguard. Shoba is blamed for getting sorted out for Malephane to kill Pule, who was his better half, in 2020 when she was eight months pregnant.
