A four armed suspects were arrested Following a robbery that took place at the Mokwakwaila Post Office in Bolobedu police station outside Tzaneen on Thursday, 25 November 2021 at approximately 09:00 am. It is alleged that a group of suspects stormed the post office and attempted to hold the staff hostage.
Eight suspects arrested, illegal firearms and suspected stolen properties recovered. The Limpopo Highway Patrol apprehended 8 suspects for several charges including armed robbery, being in possession of illegal firearms and kidnapping, at Mokopane, Motetema, Lebowakgomo, Musina and Thohoyandou. These are individuals who have been conducting the crimes in the areas and the police are alarmed about their activities, so it is fortunate that they were apprehended as quickly as they were before they could cause more problems for ordinary members of the public.
