Sihle Ziqubu still missing The floods may have led to damage on infrastructure and property of people , but what was lost will take long to forget . There is however a reported loss of a 14 year old boy who reportedly drowned in the Klip River whose body has not been recovered .
Kwa-Zulu Natal has not been lucky in the past months as it has had some of its districts hit by natural disasters in the form of heavy rains . A couple of days ago , the Premier of Kwa-Zulu Natal even called for some of the districts to be declared National State of Disaster because of the December rains .
The Ladysmith CBD is underwater again because of the rain, which has been going on for a long time now. Today, Settlers Drive, King Street, Queen Street, and Alexandra Street have all been hit by floods. Bell Spruit also flooded as the rain kept coming all day.
