South African Police Services members in Soweto arrested two suspects for multiple charges of criminal activities that include robbery, hijacking, kidnapping, attempted murder, and having stolen property. The police arrested the suspects after receiving a complaint that a courier van was being robbed. Police responded to the complaint and a shootout ensued between the police and the would-be robbers, with police injuring one suspect.
A guy has been charged with impersonating the police minister on Facebook and has appeared in the White River Magistrate's Court in Mpumalanga. On Thursday, Zakhele Morris Nkosi, 34, made an appearance in court on allegations of fraud. Following a Hawks investigation that connected him to the impersonation of Police Minister Bheki Cele, he was sent a summons last month.

A post office has been robbed again for the second time in eight months.
