Khoisan is a collective word for non-Bantu indigenous peoples of Southern Africa that combines the Khoekhoen (previously "Khoikhoi") and the Sn or Skhoen (also known as Boesmans or Bushmen in Afrikaans). Khoekhoen were once known as "Hottentots," an onomatopoeic name (derived from Dutch hot-en-tot) alluding to the click sounds found in the Khoekhoe languages, as well as all of the Khoesn languages.
While South Africa has never officially been involved in any war, during world war two tensions were high all around the world. These tensions lead many Countries to take drastic actions. South Africa was one of those Countries as the than ruling party thought it was a good idea to build nuclear weapons.
