"And he said: "My grace is sufficient for thee; for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, it is with great joy that I shall exalt myself in my weaknesses, so that the might of Christ may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9
I don't know whether it is our lack of faith or we just believe in meddling and trying to do things on our own. Most of us pray a lot and somehow we fail to wait on the Lord. We no longer find ourselves giving deservedly glory to the Lord because after praying we got involved and when miracles start happening we are not sure whether it is us or its God.
There is a social organization in Tibet known as the castle system that has been in place for a long time. It's a system in which one's birth determines what they do with their lives and who they become in society. We are continually fighting conflicts, and praise, aside from holiness, is the most powerful weapon we have. When you're fighting against obstacles that are simply too tremendous to overcome, the only way to triumph is to praise God. Jehoshaphat's strategy was to do just that.
“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the scornful seat.” (1 Psalm 1:1) Why does the Holy Spirit warn us against walking in the footsteps of the wicked, standing in the paths of sinners, and sitting in the seats of the scornful?

An Old Testament counterpart is found in Second Chronicles 20, when Jehoshaphat went out against the enemy. Three armies—the Ammonites, the Moabites, and the inhabitants of Mount Seir—had banded together against Jehoshaphat. He didn't have the manpower to stand against them, so he called a prayer meeting. The people fasted and prayed. The Spirit of God moved upon a young man in the congregation, and he stood and prophesied. The Lord told them not to fear. He told them where the enemy was and said to go against
"When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought,'This is the right King of Israel.' So they turned to attack him,but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him.God Drew them away from him." 2 Chronicles 18:31 The kingdom of Israel had divided into 2 kingdoms, Israel and Judah. While these kingdoms were often at odds, they did join together to fight Aram.
