Previous Rhythm City entertainer Jamie Bartlett has passed on. He was 55. The death of Bartlett was affirmed by a relative, who addressed eNCA on Monday night. Among different jobs, Bartlett was known for playing David Genaro on eTV's Rhythm City until 2020 and won three Saftas for the job.

In keeping with exciting and fresh content, e.tv ( channel 194) announced in November 2020 that soapie Rhythm City was not to be renewed for another season after a 14-year run. The final episode will air on Friday 16 July, with new fashion-industry telenovela House Of Zwide replacing it from Monday 19 July.
