On Tuesday the 28th September 2021, Thousands of the Nazareth Baptist Church Ebuhleni branch took to the `streets of Durban as they held a peaceful march from King Dinuzulu park to Durban City Hall to submit their memorandum. It is estimated they were about 6000 marchers on the day and that was not the entire church.
Nazareth Baptist Church members led by Phinda 'Kukhanyakwelanga' Shembe have passed on the case of Mduduzi 'uNyazilwezulu' Shembe denying to move out of eBuhleni to Durban High court after the constitutional court revealed that Vela 'Msebeyelanga' is the legal leader of eBuhleni. This information was revealed by the court on the 22nd of June.
There was a misunderstanding as Thembezinhle Shembe church leader Phinda Shembe forcefully entered at Mbusweni temple in Nseleni. Supporters of eBuhleni leader uNyazilwezulu who stay at this temple are the ones who blocked the way with their cars, saying this leader will not enter inside the temple. The court made a decision that Phinda Shembe is the legal leader of both Nazareth chirch branches.

Ebuhleni Shembe Church leaders have requested for the new television show called 'Umkhokha' not to be shown on TV before it even starts. The request was sent after a short clip of this show was displayed on TV. Leaders of eBuhleni Shembe branch together with other members have complained on social media saying it looks like this show would be focusing more on the leadership disputes that have been going on at this church.
