Chairperson of the faculty governing frame Charles Cholo has accused the provincial schooling department of deliberately ignoring their catch 22 situation. Most of the parents are not happy with the fact that their kids are attending classes under the trees, this happens after classes were damaged by rain and heavy storms.

Dibeng Residents Angry After What Was Done In Their Community

Dibeng Residents are demanding answers after their community was left like this, people last still in disbelief after Iraq that was completed in a month is now showing some portals and it seems to not been contracted by road expert. One of the residents complained on social media and expressed how she feels about what happened, she says it's quite clear that the people who are doing this were not even into it so they regard them incompetent as they failed to do what they were supposed to do.

A report was given of hundreds of learners who were blocked from attending school when schools reopened. The decision not to send learners to the Dibeng Primary School , from Dibeng came about after a meeting that was made by the parents , educators and some organisations . The parents are reported to have rejected an offer that was made by the Limpopo Department of Education for relocation to the Phuthi Secondary School.

The municipality of Dibeng village in Matlala, about 90 km away from Polokwane, has proven that they can progress as a community without much help from the Government, as they demolished a dilapidated school and used the materials to build barracks as classrooms for their children. For more than 10 years, the local government has demanded that the provincial government provide primary schools or repair dilapidated buildings, to no avail as development projects have been postponed.

The Department of Education in Limpopo is reported to have failed to build a school for the community of Dibeng after the school which was being used had been dilapidated . The Department reportedly failed to repair the school either . In return , the community members decided to dismantle the school that was already dilapidated and used the material to build shacks which would be used by the learners as the classrooms .The Limpopo Department of Education had made an arrangement for the learners to be moved to another school , but the community members refused to have their children moved to another school .
