The Dstv Premiership midweek fixtures saw Orlando Pirates Football Club and Marumo Gallants Football Club play their catch-up matches after they were involved in the Confederation of African Football(CAF) Confederations Cup third round ties, which will see winners of this stage enter the group stages. While the Buccaneers visited LRPC Oilers Football Club in Liberia, Gallants were in the Democratic Republic of Congo to play against the African powerhouse, TP Mazembe.
