An infamous Gqeberha doctor who tried to cash in on the demand of certificates is in hot water. Bongani Nqini allegedly issued out fake medical certificates. The decision follows a more than two-year investigation by the National Traffic Anti-Corruption Unit (NTACU) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
As it stands the HPCSA has bust two fake doctors who are now arrested for selling fraudulent medical certificates. They were taken into custody in a joint operation in Germiston. The Health Professions Council says it worked with law enforcement agencies after a community tip-off. The HPCSA discovered that one accused claimed to be Dr J Dominic, while the other pretended to be Dr AS Semambo.They were allegedly selling fraudulent medical certificates to members of the public.
Two fake doctors are reported to have been busted by the Health Professions Council of South Africa in the Northern Cape .The spokesperson for the council , Mr Christopher Tsatsawane reportedly highlighted that they had conducted an operation that was aimed at getting rid of all health practitioners who were not registered .
THE Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) has approached the general population to be careful about fake specialists who are giving fake clinical endorsements for representatives who couldn't go to work. This comes after eight laborers and a sham Zimbabwean specialist were captured last week after they were found with counterfeit wiped out notes in Benoni, Gauteng.
