The Grade 10 pupil, who will be buried today in Folweni, had apparently told her family that she hated going to school because of constantly being teased about having “thick” lips and a chipped tooth.

The death by suicide of a schoolgirl who was 15 years old has once more brought attention to the problem of bullying. The death of Asanda Thethwayo occurred a week ago, and it is believed that she was bullied at school. The young woman, who was a student in the tenth grade and will be laid to rest today in Folweni, is said to have confided in her family that she despised going to school because she was constantly teased about having "thick" lips and a chipped tooth.

A 15 year old Asanda Thethwayo took her own life a year of being bullied by her grade 10 classmates. The bullying became so much worse that she decided to swallow a cocktail of tablet and drink paraffin. its allegedly the ASanda was a victim of high levels of bullying by her school mates for a year.

According to reports, Asanda Thethwayo took her own life after being tormented at school for a whole year. Her death was ruled a suicide. When Asanda Thethwayo had had enough of being tormented, it is said that she made the decision to end her life in order to get away from her tormentors.
